If golden-eyed children are raised well, they can surely protect a region and keep it at peace. But there are always ignorant people willing to offer young golden-eyed children as sacrifices to evil spirits, all to buy a brief moment of peace and wealth stained with blood.

Ryo is the golden-eyed child of this generation. He wandered for a long time with his mother. Life was hard, but he was content as long as they had each other. In the end, however, the curses and evil spirits that kept appearing drove the frail woman mad. His mother personally sent him back to the gilded cage. He was locked inside a splendid estate. Aside from the servants who came to bring his meals and wash him, no one spoke to the sacrifice who was certain to die. He was alive, yet as good as dead: remembered by no one, sought out by no one. Though he had been born into this world, he had no ties to it.

Until one day, another golden-eyed child appeared.

From then on, a child who existed outside this world formed a bond with someone in it.

Akira is the most outstanding heir of his generation. From the moment he was born, he was kept in luxury inside a splendid mansion, studying and practicing swordsmanship day after day.

No one would chat, laugh, or play with the noble heir. The lady of the house would punish them harshly, and punish Akira even more harshly.

Abandoning the cage called "family," he resolutely stepped into a world that was far from beautiful. As long as you were there, even the worst hell would be a happy place.

After years of plotting, the two finally devoured the curse that wanted to devour them on the day they were to be sacrificed. Somehow, they ended up joining the Demon Slayer Corps.

The two who had once existed outside this world were made by the fiery Rengoku Kyojuro to embrace life, and grew up wild under his merciless beatings.

Call me big brother, and I won't let you die before the sun rises. With big brother around, I won't let anyone fade away before sunlight covers the earth.

After somehow joining the Demon Slayer Corps, the two finally learned Breathing Techniques under Rengoku Kyojuro's merciless beatings. Then, somehow, after the final battle ended, they transmigrated through time and were picked up by sorcerers, becoming two of the problem children at Jujutsu High.

Their daily lives changed from slaying demons, falling in love, and practicing swordsmanship to exorcising curses, falling in love, and practicing swordsmanship.

It didn't seem all that different, did it?

No... Actually, maybe it was a little different.

People from the other world formed bonds with people in this one. Connections took root, and the endless cycle of reincarnation was broken by one unexpected turn after another. The course of fate was rewritten. Friends who had set off alone on a fatal path, their hearts filled with noble ideals, were kicked back onto the road to life by their closest friends, one punch and one kick at a time. In any era, the youth of the young should not be shrouded in darkness.

The five who were classmates as students are all going to teach at Jujutsu High!

Gojo at eighteen: Huh? I don't need to team up with you two gay guys.

Gojo at twenty-eight: So I'm the gay one now? :)

Sacrifice is necessary, but fanfiction is where everyone gets to be okay!

The characters belong to jjxx. OOC is on me, and Sukuna is very OOC! (Because he's a benevolent king.) The story mostly takes place during Gojo Satoru's Jujutsu High days.

Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen get equal attention (Demon Slayer will probably take up a little less than half the book).

My take on Sukuna (he already has a pairing).

A crossover with another book, My Father Is the Strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer, Even Though I'm a Special Grade Cursed Spirit. It can be read on its own; Sukuna's pairing is in that book (but the writing is very amateurish, with tons of typos I can't be bothered to fix, so read with caution. This book's writing isn't great either).

This is self-indulgent fic written just for me, so please don't flame me.

If you have strong preferences about pairings, don't reverse or split them.

Please don't post anything attacking the characters.

The protagonist is a little obsessive because of various circumstances. They're not entirely good, but just a somewhat troubled, well-behaved kid raised by Kyojuro!
