Ye Xun was once the shining light of Penglai's righteous path, but everyone knew she was nothing more than Penglai's most useful weapon.
When the Demon Lord fell, there was no longer any power in the world capable of standing against Penglai, and Ye Xun's life came to an end as well.
Only after she died did she learn that she and the Demon Lord, Ming Mengyue, had once been lovers. But under fate's control, they had been forced onto opposing sides, swords crossed against each other.
Reborn into another life with almost all her memories gone, Ye Xun still had a voice in her heart telling her two things:
One, find a person named Ming Mengyue.
Two, stay away from Penglai.
But fate didn't leave them alone just because they tried to keep their distance. In the end, they still wound up on opposite sides of the immortal and demonic realms. This time, though, Ye Xun had a choice of her own.
She woke from a long slumber, and before she could see how the world had changed, she was captured and imprisoned in the demon realm.
Ming Mengyue, dressed in red, came to stand before her and lifted her chin with a finger. Before Ye Xun could rejoice, one question shattered her happiness:
"How are you going to make up for the sword you ran me through with last time?"
Ye Xun: ...
The good news: My wife is still alive.
The bad news: My wife remembers what happened before.
What else can I do? Keep pursuing her.
Reader's Guide:
1. Protagonist's perspective, with an older top. The romance begins after the bottom comes of age.
2. The plot outline has been completely revised.
3. The perspective sometimes switches to Ming Mengyue, but the story is mainly told from Ye Xun's perspective.
4. I'll add more if I think of anything.
Theme: Stay true to yourself
