Instance One: The Remote Mountain Miao Village Tan Yue goes out to paint in the wilderness with his “friends,” and they accidentally wander into a mountain village shrouded in miasma. The villagers are warm and welcoming, and Tan Yue gladly accepts their hospitality. He even falls in love with Guan Shan, the village heir and a peerlessly beautiful young man, in a romance that will absolutely never end in a breakup. The “friends,” being chased by supernatural entities and in a sorry state: You call that black, bug-covered monster a peerlessly beautiful young man? Instance Two: The Haunted Aquarium Tan Yue takes a part-time job at an aquarium, where his duties involve caring for all kinds of adorable sea creatures. He falls in love with the aquarium's fair-skinned, beautiful director, but discovers that his boyfriend, Guan Shan, has a huge secret. It seems he's a mermaid. No problem. A mermaid's tail is great too! The only thing Tan Yue finds troubling is that his mermaid boyfriend lays lots of little mermaids for him, so he'll have to work like crazy to support the family. (Mermaids lay eggs. They aren't real children.) Visitors to the haunted aquarium: Why are the supernatural creatures here even eating ghosts? This is terrifying, sob sob sob! Instance Three: The Art Town Tan Yue is invited to a remote town to help promote it. The mayor, Guan Shan, is a young man with a deep appreciation for art who has contributed greatly to the town's GDP. Tan Yue, who shares his love of art, falls for Guan Shan at first sight and passionately pursues the mayor. Visitors forced to boost the town's GDP: Don't you think it's horrifying that the residents can just take their heads off whenever they want?! I haven't figured out the rest yet.
