Boss Lu and His Farmer Wife

Synopsis:

Tian Yuan opened a large farm. Every day, he wandered around planting vegetables, feeding chickens, and raising sheep, while also welcoming visitors who came to sightsee. Life was relaxing and pleasant.

One day, while welcoming visitors as usual, he unexpectedly ran into Lu Junye, a college classmate he hadn't seen in years, and the man he'd had a crush on for a long time.

Their eyes met, and both were stunned.

Lu Junye called his name in disbelief. "Tian Yuan?"

Looking at the man in a suit, more aloof than he had been years ago, Tian Yuan stammered, blurting out, "Sir, do you know me?"

Lu Junye said nothing. He just stared at him.

Lu Junye stormed off, angry with him.

Tian Yuan thought they'd never have anything to do with each other again, and that they shouldn't.

Unexpectedly, Lu Junye came back, visiting the farm every few days.

One night, Tian Yuan got a call from Lu Junye. Lu Junye had been drinking, and kept telling him over and over, "A Yuan, have you missed me? Have you thought about me at all these past few years..."

Tian Yuan: "..."

Chang Xi stared at him, and all the grand words he'd said earlier became: "Forget it. I don't need these legs anymore. I'd be willing to die here."

Ban Chengming had recently been suffering from dizziness and shoulder pain due to spending so much time working on a computer. After getting checked out at the hospital, he learned that he had a fairly serious case of cervical spondylosis, and the doctor recommended that he be hospitalized.

Ban Chengming had always put work first, but this time he had no choice but to bow to fate and follow the doctor's advice. He completed the paperwork to be admitted.

The hospital was packed, with no beds available, so he was assigned to a two-person room in the spinal cord injury department.

As soon as he entered, he saw a young man half-reclining on the other bed, gazing out the window.

At the sound, the young man turned to look at him. The moment their eyes met, Ban Chengming heard his own heart start to race...
