[Scissor Seven] He Wasn't Happy About Differentiating into an Omega

Qi's Version:

Qi, an elite assassin of the Xuanwu Kingdom, acquired the Thousand Blades Demon Sword at sixteen. At seventeen, he went alone to the Kingdom of Stan to assassinate its king. At nineteen, he defected from the assassin organization, fell into the sea, and then...

He was reborn!

He was reborn in a world much like the one he'd left behind. Events unfolded in much the same way, with similar experiences and a similar path of growth. The only difference was that someone else was now by his side, and this time he also differentiated as a Qian.

What was this Qian thing? What were dew periods and scent signals? Why was he so easily affected by Kun?

Just as he was working hard to earn money and stock up on Heart-Cleansing Pills, determined to stay away from every Kun...

Qi: Uh, sorry. I think I accidentally differentiated as a Kun.

Qi: ...

Qi's Version:

When Qi learned that he was troubled because Qi had differentiated as a Qian, he shrugged. Wasn't he the one who had it worse?

Being an A was hard, and being an O was even harder. Yet he had differentiated as a Kun. Not only were dew periods a hassle, but lecherous As often eyed him like a piece of meat.

What are you looking at? Never seen a handsome guy before? Well, understandable. If being handsome were a crime, I'd be guilty beyond redemption. The pretty boy sighed helplessly, rubbing his forehead...

Wait, what? Being an O means having to give birth?

Qi (giving a sidelong glance): Author, your kinks are really weird!

Author (trying to make an excuse): Human kinks are complicated.

Setting: This is an ABO story, with Qian and Kun as more Chinese-style terms. Qian is Alpha, He Yuan is Beta, and Kun is Omega. Fu Yin is marking, Xin Xiang and Xin Yin are pheromones, and dew period is estrus. Alphas can take Heart-Cleansing Pills to suppress their dew periods, while Omegas need Snow-Silence Pills. Omegas are unaffected by pheromones after their glands are damaged.

Reader advisory: The CP is Qi/Qi, a self-pairing. Please avoid if that's not your thing. The setting is part alternate universe and part original canon, with original worldbuilding and characters. The characters may be out of character. There is no childbirth plot. The author's writing is at an elementary-school level.

Theme: The heart's desire is the only orientation.
