Clearly Not an Ordinary Cat

Chen Ziming is an ordinary college student: average looks, average height, an ordinary personality, and no special talents worth mentioning. He seems completely unremarkable, but he has a secret nobody knows: he can see ghosts.

Because of this, he had to move out of his dorm, which was full of ghosts, and rent a place off campus.

He thought he was about to enjoy a peaceful and comfortable college life, but one day a new neighbor moved in next door. The neighbor also brought along an extremely clingy black cat that ignored everyone else and clung only to Chen Ziming.

He'd seen people obsessed with cats, but this was the first time he'd seen a cat obsessed with a person.

Black cat: Sorry, I'm having a human craving. A human this cute was born to be eaten by a cat.

Chen Ziming: You know your cat persona has totally fallen apart, right?

Black cat: I only show my true self to you.

Chen Ziming (thinking): The cat is pretty cute, but it's a shame it can talk.

I wrote this novel a long time ago. It has a modern setting, is told in first person, and is half supernatural, half fantasy.

Theme: The world is falling apart, but cats are patching it back together.
