When a dodder vine finds a Host, its original roots rot away. It becomes a complete parasite, draining its Host of every last bit of nourishment until the Host withers and dies.
Kuang Cangdong was just such a dodder vine.
He thought this bitterly, yet couldn't help wiring the last ten thousand dollars he had to Kuang Cangdong. This so-called "younger sister" had already destroyed his family.
On a New York street, a Chinese man suddenly rushed up and grabbed a woman by the hand, refusing to let go. He shouted that she had ruined his life, then burst into tears, dropped to his knees, and incoherently begged her, "Don't go to someone else. Please don't leave..."
A passerby asked her, "Do you know this man?"
The woman shook her head, looking stunned.
A good Samaritan pinned the man to the ground. Through tear-blurred eyes, he watched Kuang Cangdong, who had once been by his side day and night, straighten her cuffs and walk away without looking back.
