In the Stars, Calling on the Gods to Save the World

In the year 1129 of the New Era, countless colossal statues floated in the sky, black and blood-soaked temples rose from the ground, and the whispers of the old gods spread across the stars.

"Those who believe in me shall gain eternal life."

"Offer yourselves as a sacrifice to me."

The old gods created monstrous beasts and alien races, tormenting humanity to feed on negative emotions and forcing people to worship them.

*

Humanity was plunged into misery, with little hope of survival.

To fight the old gods and alien species, a new kind of empowered person emerged across the stars: the God-Touched.

The God-Touched could summon guardians through special mediums to fight the evil gods.

*

Chen Jingyao came from the blue planet numbered M34, an outsider in the interstellar world.

*

This other world was cruel, cold, and utterly unfamiliar. Danger and darkness tested her sanity.

Under immense pressure, Chen Jingyao yearned desperately for her distant homeland, and for the ancient gods described by the seers beneath the vast starry sky.

Her mighty mental energy shimmered with silver-white light.

In the darkness, a bright light traced the shape of faith, stroke by stroke.

*

A long arrow shot up from the earth, piercing the clouds and reaching for the heavens. The phantom of the Golden Crow fell, weeping tears of blood.

Dressed in flowing white, she swept her long sleeves and raced toward the moonlit palace.

A tiny human figure bore a radiant, multicolored light. The shattered sky of Buzhou slowly mended, and daylight poured down across the world.

The Investiture of the Gods unfurled across heaven and earth. Its magnificent scenes rekindled the burning blood of the stars.

*

Later, everyone witnessed the God-Touched Chen Jingyao summon her guardian.

Countless gods appeared behind her in all their majestic splendor, their golden radiance blazing across the universe.

From boundless rosy light, her guardian extended a finger and crushed the evil creature that had tried to destroy her.

It had utterly trampled the old gods.
