To uphold love and peace, and help Count D's Pet Shop successfully open its doors, Lale set off down a one-way road.
"Got it. To open the pet shop, we need to gather approval, right? No problem. Wait, what the hell? You didn't say I'd turn into an animal! Aaaaaah!"
Later, Lale died.
The first time, in the sky outside Ferris Wheel Car 72.
The second time, in a sealed, freezing white room.
The third time, amid flames and paper scraps flying everywhere.
The fourth time, in the explosions and gunfire of Black Friday.
Who killed Lale?
"I did," Matsuda Jinpei said.
"With my attitude and my mouth."
"I did," Morofushi Hiromitsu said.
"With my truth and my lies."
"I did," Furuya Rei said.
"With my responsibilities and my circumstances."
"I did," Akai Shuichi said.
"With my arrogance and my secrets."
Lale: ? Don't drag me into this. I'm doing just fine at the pet shop.
Count D smiled warmly from inside the pet shop. "Dear customer, would you like to adopt a pet?"
Theme: If you don't take good care of your pet, it might die.
