When Ye Qinglan was young, she had a childhood friend born on the exact same day and in the same year as her, but one hour later.

Unlike Ye Qinglan, who could run and jump and spent all day climbing everywhere, her friend was soft and delicate, and sickly too.

Everyone thought her friend would differentiate as an Omega, while Ye Qinglan would become an Alpha.

On her sixteenth birthday, her sweet, gentle friend made a wish.

"I want to be with you forever, Big Sis."

Sadly, the following year, an accident struck her friend's family, and they all moved overseas. Before leaving, her friend tearfully begged Ye Qinglan to wait for her, but after that, she vanished without a trace.

Years later, Ye Qinglan had become a hugely popular, award-winning Best Actress. Her childhood friend, missing for years, showed up at her celebration banquet dressed to the nines.

With red eyes, her friend cornered her in the restroom, looking utterly aggrieved.

"Big Sis, I'm back. Please don't get together with anyone else, okay?"

Ye Qinglan's expression was icy. "Ning Yunshu, I'm an Omega."

Ning Yunshu blinked innocently. "So? I'm an Alpha."

Ye Qinglan: "???"

After returning to the country, Ning Yunshu clung to Ye Qinglan every day. She even asked Ye Qinglan's mother to intervene and get her permission to move into Ye Qinglan's apartment.

On the very first night, Ye Qinglan laid down three rules.

Ye Qinglan: "Don't stay in the same room with me at night, don't bring up things from when we were kids, and don't go into my study."

Ning Yunshu: "Oh..."

But one day, Ye Qinglan had barely stepped inside before the smell of milk candy filling the apartment made her head spin. Unable to take it anymore, she flung open the door to the second bedroom.

"Ning Yunshu! You..."

The Alpha in heat was curled up in the corner, eyes red, crying so hard she could barely breathe. When she saw Ye Qinglan, she panicked.

"B-Big Sis, don't... don't come in!"

The little crybaby looked so afraid of hurting her that Ye Qinglan's heart softened again.

She went over and held her, baring the back of her neck without reservation.

"There, there. Don't cry."

Later, Ning Yunshu pinned Ye Qinglan down, her voice hoarse.

"Big Sis, why won't you let me into your study?"

Ye Qinglan blushed and looked away.

"B-because..."

That was where she kept all the youthful feelings she'd ever had for Ning Yunshu.
