Golden Beans and Eyelashes

One day, an old woman who made a living collecting scrap found a doll abandoned in a rubbish heap and took it home. Jin Yuanzi was one of the doll's eyes, which had fallen off. That day, heavy snow blanketed its round little body. Before long, it had grown limbs and gained consciousness, but it was still missing the eyelashes it longed for so dearly.

Somehow, it ended up in the home of a bearded singer. There, it repeatedly helped the singer find the things he treasured. In return, he helped Jin Yuanzi search for its eyelashes, and together they embarked on a series of adventures.
