Sequence Mediation

I've run out of inspiration for this story, so I'm putting it on hold for now. I remember someone in the comments asking for my Weibo. I've made an account, and the name is tentatively Gong Lili Lopevas. Look it up if you're interested.

One: The higher-ups assign Chu Xingxiu a nearly impossible mission. He was going to refuse, but considering the treacherous terrain and how easily both sides could suffer terrible losses and civilians could be slaughtered, he has no choice but to agree.

Each of the two factions has a representative with boundless potential, both members of the new generation of Sequence Holders. As an old-generation Sequence Holder, Chu Xingxiu is responsible for keeping these two kids in line. On the first day they meet, one of them gives him a show of defiance by deliberately showing up late.

Chu Xingxiu turns around and leaves. The kid panics, bangs on his car, and begs him not to go.

Chu Xingxiu easily gets both kids under control, becomes the best-known mediator in the area, and earns a reward.

If the mission hadn't gone off the rails halfway through, he could have kept living comfortably. But he never expected that before the money even arrived, he'd already be saddled with the blame.

Two: The mission begins with a look back at the past. Chu Xingxiu once attended an aristocratic academy, where he learned the difference between social classes. Even so, his status as a Sequence Holder lets him live very comfortably.

But what he wants isn't a worry-free life. He wants something he's never had: the power of a god.

There's someone who can put him on that path. Strange, sudden phenomena and a baffling village massacre. At last, Chu Xingxiu touches the truth of the world. But he never imagined he would also touch that person's heart.

Theme: Overcome difficulties.
