Summer Desire

I met him on a rainy day. His profile was so striking that it made me stop in my tracks.

I thought it was a fleeting glimpse, and that I would never see him again.

But then I found him at school.

I treasured the discovery.

Our only connection was the anime club, which met every Friday. We hardly interacted.

I didn't know whether I liked him, but I loved looking at him.

He started teasing me in secret.

I was a little flustered and couldn't understand what he was getting at.

Ten years passed in the blink of an eye. I became a doctor and never heard from him again.

The next time I saw him was at a preview screening of a film. He was sitting in the director's seat. After all these years, I still remembered what he looked like.

After the screening, he came over and invited me to dinner.

I knew he wanted to pull the same trick again, and tease me one more time.
