Shen Chuan's Little Husband

Synopsis: Shen Chuan returned to the village after three years away on business. Everything had changed. His childhood friend was now old enough to marry and had his eye on a young man in the village. One day, Shen Chuan went out with his friend and met two young men. His friend pointed to one of them and said, “That handsome young man is going to be my husband.” Shen Chuan frowned as he looked at the one of the two he thought was even more handsome. He seemed to like that young man, too. But you don’t steal your friend’s wife, so he could only keep his distance in silence. Shen Chuan had resolved to stay away, but he kept running into that handsome young man. The first time, the young man bumped into him. Before Shen Chuan could say a word, the young man looked at him with tear-filled eyes. The second time, wild dogs had him surrounded, and Shen Chuan drove them off with a wooden stick. The third time, Shen Chuan ran into him again while gathering herbs in the mountains and gave the herbs to him. But little by little, Shen Chuan found it harder and harder to control his feelings. Later, Shen Chuan’s friend took him to meet two young men again. This time, though, his friend pointed to a young man Shen Chuan didn’t recognize and said, “That’s the one who’s going to be my husband.” What? Shen Chuan had mistaken the two. The handsome young man wasn’t his friend’s intended husband, but... Oh no, his future husband was going to be angry. Shen Chuan silently set out to win him back...
