Before transmigrating, he was a beloved national first-class endangered protected animal, the Baiji dolphin. After transmigrating, he became the last white-tailed mermaid in the empire, hated by everyone.

Their rarity was about the same, but his living conditions had fallen from heaven to hell.

Later, the sirens were wiped out, the humans were scared straight, merfolk numbers grew exponentially, and the powerful ocean empire even built its palace above the sea.

The original Xingche, now the Lord of the Ocean, once had a scumbag catchphrase. He said this to every beautiful mermaid:

The beauty kept a cold face, but his pale golden tail curled tightly around the tip of Xingche's tail. “What word?”

“It's called... getting married first and falling in love later.”

The female fish's whole tail flushed red, but he only glanced coolly at Xingche.

“Oh? Of all the merfolk you've loved before, am I the one you love most?”

Xingche hurriedly curled his tail around him and pulled him into his arms.

“No! You're the only one I love!”
