After Becoming the Dark Side of a Beautiful God

Misilai had always thought he was a perfect god, without a single flaw.

He loved all living beings and protected everything under heaven.

He had done everything to the utmost, both in spirit and in body, and was complete in every way.

That was what he thought before divine punishment descended.

The thunderbolt was unlike anything he had ever seen, so powerful and terrifying that it seemed ready to tear him apart.

Fortunately, it struck only his divine core and did no fundamental damage.

He became one of the insignificant humans. He would have to fight alongside them against the apocalypse. This was the only way to restore his divine core.

As time went by, he felt himself changing. He was no longer so noble, no longer so sacred.

His heart grew uglier and more evil by the day.

He even wanted to kill every living thing here, simply because he couldn't stand the sight of them...

"Fall into depravity, dear Lord God."

That voice came from the depths of his heart.

But it wasn't his voice.

Misilai suddenly understood. He had given rise to a heart demon, and that heart demon was his tribulation.

He would draw the heart demon out of his body.

Then he would teach him well and make him into an upright and kind god.
