Too Much Flirting

Even after seeing Feng Ning again ten years later, Xi Qingmiao couldn't help falling for her all over again.

They used to hold hands beneath their desks, sneak into the woods to hug, and hide on the rooftop to kiss with nervous care. Their intimacy was endless, secret, forbidden, hidden, and burning hot.

After graduation, Xi Qingmiao gathered her courage and confessed, trembling.

Feng Ning was as dazzling and beautiful as ever that day. When she heard Xi Qingmiao say she liked her, Feng Ning looked surprised. "I don't like you."

Xi Qingmiao felt as if a bucket of ice water had been dumped over her. "Then what was..."

Feng Ning looked at her with a hint of pity. "I thought you knew. It was just a way to blow off steam from studying. I'm sorry. If I'd known you were gay, I would've picked someone else."

At that moment, Xi Qingmiao understood that Feng Ning was a jerk.

Ten years later, when they met again, Feng Ning fell back into her old ways.

She invited Xi Qingmiao to dinner, went shopping with her, held her hand, kissed her, and, drunk, wrapped an arm around her waist and murmured, "Miaomiao, you're so beautiful."

Xi Qingmiao sneered. "Do you need to blow off some stress again?"

The drunk couldn't understand what she was saying. She only clung to her tightly, refusing to let her go even after falling asleep.

In the middle of the night, Xi Qingmiao heard Feng Ning crying. She didn't know what she'd dreamed, but she murmured, "Xi Qingmiao, why don't you want me?"

Xi Qingmiao wiped the tears from the drunk's face and sighed. Who was rejecting whom?
