After Saving the Aloof Villain on a Dating Show

Lin Ye, the only dog spirit to ever appear since the founding of the country, died. In the underworld, she was told she still had a great debt of gratitude to repay, then sent back with a harem romance novel about competing love interests.

Lin Ye became a minor celebrity in the entertainment industry. On a dating show, she ran into the person who had once saved her life: Ji Yanli, the villain who was infamous in the original story and met a tragic end.

She dashed over, her heart pounding and hands trembling, but before she could say a word, he coldly turned away. His gloomy gaze was nothing like the sweet, soft look he used to give her when he called her "Ye Ye" as a child.

Ji Yanli was sick of the woman who tirelessly chased after him. She had no sense of boundaries, invaded his personal space, and chattered incessantly.

Until one day, she risked her life to save him. Her bloodied body was reflected in Ji Yanli's eyes, and for the first time, the wall of ice that kept everyone at a distance began to melt.

He silently asked her why.

"Because I'm your dog!!!"

Bonus Scene:

On the first day of their relationship, Lin Ye came out of her lovestruck haze and started having second thoughts.

"We're different species. How are we supposed to date? Should we break up?"

"Say that again." Ji Yanli smiled, but there was no warmth in his eyes.

His long, pale fingers gripped his girlfriend's soft cheek and pinched hard.

Lin Ye was forced into silence. Her lips puckered like a duck's bill as she quietly made a little heart with her fingers.

Ji Yanli burst out laughing.
