No Matter How Old You Get, Your Mom Is Still Your Mom

Liang Xiaolian had a hard life. Widowed at a young age, she raised two sons on her own. She ought to have had nothing to regret, but life is unpredictable.

On the seventh night after her death, her spirit returned.

Her eldest had been a sensible boy since childhood, brave and ambitious. He built a business from nothing as an adult and was her greatest pride. But after a string of misfortunes, he eventually went bankrupt and leaped to his death from a rooftop.

Her second son was handsome and charming, the pride of the family. He entered show business and became a hugely popular star adored by countless fans. But after appearing on a variety show, he was vilified across the internet, then exposed in one scandal after another. He retired from the industry in disgrace and fell into severe depression.

Her youngest daughter, whom Liang Xiaolian had never met, was given away in secret. She was born during the one-child policy, and her mother-in-law claimed she was stillborn. Her adoptive parents treated her poorly, using her, a graduate of a prestigious university, as a cash cow.

Liang Xiaolian refused to enter the cycle of reincarnation. She couldn't let go, so her spirit possessed a female traditional Chinese medicine doctor who had just died of an illness.

The doctor was about the same age as her three children.
