Qu Yinzhong was the most beautiful guy among the handsome men at Z University.

Shen Muyun had secretly liked him for ages. Before he could even finish drafting a meticulous, perfect plan to pursue him, Qu had to go on an exchange program at another school for a while.

Afraid someone else would get to Qu first, Shen asked his roommate to make sure Qu was still single by the time he returned.

A few months later, Shen came back. And, as luck would have it, something had gone wrong.

Shen discovered that someone had stolen the person he liked right from under his nose. He rushed to confront his roommates, only to find one of them, Shang Jingluo, chatting on the phone with Qu.

Fuming, Shen cursed the usually aloof, taciturn Shang Jingluo as a "shameless old fox."

Shang Jingluo did not explain. He simply asked, referring to the phrase "A friend's husband must not be betrayed":

"Are we friends?"

Young Master Shen threw a fit for days and unilaterally declared that he and Shang Jingluo were no longer friends, until he realized he did not even like Qu that much.

One day, Shen happened upon Shang Jingluo and Qu on a date, and tactfully got out of their way.

That night, he seemed to dream of an arrow that could not be snapped. Then, still half-asleep, he woke to find his roommate pinning him down.

"What are you doing?"

"Can't you tell I've fallen for you?"

"You're Qu Yinzhong's boyfriend! Get out of here!"

Hearing the name of his white moonlight from Shen's lips again made Shang Jingluo's gaze even more obsessive.

"He's a friend I've known since childhood."

"A friend's husband must not be betrayed. Since you once claimed to be his husband, how could I possibly betray you?"
