Synopsis
Lou Xuesu transmigrates into a cultivation novel as the protagonist's junior martial uncle.
The protagonist, Ying Jin, has a life that can be summed up in one word: tragic. In the first half of his life, he suffers relentless abuse and is finally rescued, only to discover that the sect that saved him intends to use him as medicine for Lou Xuesu, who is frail and sickly. In the second half, he endures countless hardships on the ghost path to take revenge, but ends his own life once he has done so.
Lou Xuesu looks at the filthy, twelve-year-old Ying Jin and can't help softening. Ignoring everyone's advice, he brings Ying Jin to live in his courtyard.
He cares for and cherishes him for six whole years.
As he grows up, Ying Jin suddenly becomes difficult to understand.
Whenever he gets the chance, Ying Jin asks whether he is the only person Lou Xuesu has ever raised. After hearing the answer is yes, he alternates between happiness and disappointment.
Ying Jin often stares at him blankly. When he is punished by being made to kneel while holding incense, he doesn't even notice when it burns down to his fingertips, then changes expression and curses himself as useless.
One moment he's acting spoiled against Lou Xuesu's shoulder; the next, he turns around and calls himself shameless.
He uses Lou Xuesu's jade token to enter the library, where he reads forbidden arts concerning past and present lives, summoning souls, and destroying souls.
And then... while Lou Xuesu was pretending to sleep, a warm sensation touched his lips, and Ying Jin's breath lingered at the tip of his nose.
Lou Xuesu's heart is thrown into turmoil. He can't even spare a thought for why Ying Jin's temperament keeps changing. All he can think is: Did I raise the protagonist to be gay?
And if that's what happened, the person he secretly kissed was Lou Xuesu himself? His junior martial uncle, the one who raised and taught him.
Even stranger, ever since that kiss, red marks have mysteriously appeared on Lou Xuesu's wrists. At night, it feels as though someone is holding him as they sleep. The worst time, large plum-blossom-like marks even appeared on his ankles. One can imagine how someone must have held and toyed with them in the night.
*
Ying Jin lived a whole life and felt like a joke.
His first half was a miserable struggle. He thought he'd found a good person, only to learn that all they wanted was his heart. After having his heart torn out and becoming a ghost, he spent the rest of his life seeking revenge, but his enemy didn't even recognize him.
Lou Xuesu stood untouched by wind and snow on a high platform, while Ying Jin's heart beat inside his chest.
Lou Xuesu never knew Ying Jin existed. Even the heart inside him had been put there after his good master tricked him into accepting it.
Only now did Ying Jin understand.
From birth, he had been prepared as medicine for Lou Xuesu. He was born because of Lou Xuesu, and he died because of Lou Xuesu. He was a complete and utter joke.
He destroyed everyone, himself included.
He never expected to be reborn.
Back in his youth, he didn't take control of his own body. Instead, he sealed himself away and coldly watched "himself" stumble along the path he had taken in his previous life.
And yet...
A warm room, countless magical treasures. In this life, Ying Jin is carefully taught, protected, and cherished.
"Ying Jin" is someone Lou Xuesu holds dear.
This drives Ying Jin mad with jealousy.
Why!!!
Why didn't Lou Xuesu show him any affection in his previous life, while "Ying Jin" gets to be loved like this?
"You think you can compete with me?" Killing himself a second time is nothing. He's already good at it.
*
The eighteen-year-old Ying Jin is even more furious. He already died in his previous life. The dead should stay dead, so why is he competing with Ying Jin for his junior martial uncle?
He even wants to fight for control of the body.
Dream on! His junior martial uncle only cares for him.
How can he kill his past self!!!
★ The Ying Jin from the previous life will eventually cultivate a body.
★ They are the same person, but also not the same person. Their experiences and personalities differ, and they will not merge.
★ Two male leads, one love interest.

Ying Xin transmigrates into a book, becoming the Wu Clan's young master, a temporary vicious villain who is also the final villain's eldest senior brother.
One person in two roles. That damn System really knows how to save money.
As a temporary vicious villain, his mission is to kidnap and humiliate the protagonist, Xie Lianzhu, make the gifted young man fall into the mud, become the shadow haunting him for the rest of his life, and finally die by his sword.
Looking at Xie Lianzhu, whose looks are exactly to his taste, Ying Xin lightly bites his tongue, interest filling his eyes. The System only said to humiliate him; it never said how.
Xie Lianzhu is covered in blood, his gaze full of resentment and hatred. That expression on a face like his is the perfect aphrodisiac.
Ying Xin holds Xie Lianzhu's chin and blows a breath into his eyes with a smile, turning him into his lowest-ranking male concubine.
On the day his role is supposed to end, Ying Xin deliberately leaves an opening. Xie Lianzhu's sword pierces his chest, and he smiles as he smears the blood from his lips onto Xie Lianzhu's cold lips.
"Remember what I look like. Don't forget me for the rest of your life, Xie Lianzhu."
Xie Lianzhu's icy eyes tremble, and the hatred in them suddenly crumbles.
*
There is one person Xie Lianzhu hates most in this life.
That person shattered his pride and broke his true self. Even after dying, he still won't let Xie Lianzhu rest in peace.
He hates him. He hates him to death.
Three years after that person's death, the eldest senior brother he had never met emerges from seclusion. He looks seven or eight parts like that person.
The eldest senior brother is gentle and courteous, asking after Xie Lianzhu and caring for him in every way. He's so kind that he doesn't resemble that person at all.
Xie Lianzhu thinks with disgust: It's just a coincidence. That person was so vile, and even his death was so final.
Unwilling to see that face again, he starts going down the mountain frequently to exterminate evil spirits.
One day, Xie Lianzhu receives an emergency warning from his sect. He hurries back, only to find blood everywhere and his eldest senior brother standing on the steps, looking down at him with a sword in hand. The beauty mark on the tip of the other man's nose shines brightly.
He stares at that face, suddenly trembling all over.
He touches the red cord hidden beneath his sleeve. That person tied it around his wrist himself that year.
The other man's sword pierces his chest, yet Xie Lianzhu feels no pain. His tongue presses against the roof of his mouth, excitement surging to the top of his head.
He wipes away the bead of blood beneath the other's eye, then pulls him into his arms without a thought for his own life and fiercely crushes their lips together.
"I haven't forgotten."
Theme: Unity and friendship are the most important foundations for progress.
