Hello, My Dear Mermaid

A cute, brilliant little mermaid x a sharp-tongued, calculating pianist who's both rich and handsome

Every merperson goes through three shedding periods in their lifetime. During each one, they shed all their scales and become extremely weak. During the final shedding period, they choose their most beautiful and strongest scales to give to their future beloved.

As her third shedding period approached, Yu Zhizhi swam into a bay under human jurisdiction. As the saying goes, the most dangerous place is the safest place.

Yan Tong was a pianist who had to work hard in his career or else be forced to inherit his family's fortune. While diving in his own bay, he got into a serious accident.

To save a human she didn't even know, Yu Zhizhi lost the scale her mother had left her.

At the aquarium, Yu Zhizhi gazed at the jellyfish in front of her, lost in thought, while constantly swallowing. She imagined how satisfying it would be to eat all the jellyfish in front of her. Yan Tong had only stepped up to strike up a conversation, but soon found himself being pestered by a very strange young woman.

So, in order to get her mother's scale back, Yu Zhizhi became Yan Tong's shadow. After she was taken to the police station, she copied what other couples did, plopped down on the floor, wrapped her arms around Yan Tong's leg, and cried, "Honey, you can't abandon me!"

"Sir, you can't send your wife to the police station over a little thing."

Yan Tong was left speechless.

There was nothing he could do about Yu Zhizhi, so he took her home.

A chance meeting brought about by a twist of fate...

A love born of an unexpected encounter...

The third shedding period arrived, and Yu Zhizhi disappeared with it.

He'd thought that once this little troublemaker was gone, his life would return to normal. But to his surprise, it was impossible to completely forget someone and erase every trace of them.

He would spend entire days motionless at that aquarium, visiting every day just for the chance to meet the little girl who stared at jellyfish and swallowed.

Without even realizing it, he began buying the little mermaid's favorite fish and bringing the aquarium home: all kinds of fish, all kinds of jellyfish...

After staying away from business for years, he finally went to the company to visit his cousin Ling Qiuwen, who had been managing it for him. There, he unexpectedly ran into the newly appointed art director, Yu Zhizhi.

"Hello, my name is Yu Zhizhi."

"Hello, my name is Yan Tong."

My love will break through my reason, but at the same time, my love will also bring my reason back.

Fate has always been a wondrous thing. Perhaps her appearance had been written in the stars from the very beginning. The two of them disturbed each other's orbit and set the wheels of their waiting destiny in motion.

Their lives were changed from that moment on.
