After Dreaming of My Future Husband

*

Blurb:

The next time her mother made her kneel in the ancestral hall, Wen Miao had an impossible dream.

She dreamed that her future husband held great power and loved her deeply. Whenever he brought up the past, he would ache for all the years he hadn't been there for her.

It was a beautiful dream, but in reality, her marriage was stolen from her, she fell into a lake and became ill, and after being confined to a small courtyard, her family planned to send her to be a prince's concubine in exchange for her father's career advancement.

So, with nowhere else to turn, she wrote a letter to the future husband she'd never met, her hand trembling and her teeth clenched...

Wei Zhan, heir to the Duke of Li, is a notorious young troublemaker in the capital and the cherished darling of both His Majesty and the Empress Dowager.

One day, he receives a baffling letter. Even more baffling is what it says:

"Hello, Wei Zhan. I'm your future wife..."

Whether this is a joke or madness, Wei Zhan thinks, he wants to see which reckless fool would dare pull such a prank on him.

At the time, he never imagined that years later, he would indeed become just as the letter said:

He would love his wife as his own life, and love her as his own life.
