Becoming a Farm Owner in a World of Strange Rules

Bai Qian somehow ends up in a world of supernatural rules. All she has to do is keep her head down and survive for 365 days to leave.

The problem is, Bai Qian isn't the quiet type. She's stubborn to the core, and even the monsters are left shaking their heads at her.

The rules say she can't eat meat? Then she'll eat vegetables!

What?! A hundred yuan per half-kilo?! Even the rich would go broke eating these!

Furious, Bai Qian buys seeds and prepares to start farming. She even pries up a roadside Sunflower Shooter and makes it stand guard while she snacks on its seeds.

Sunflower Shooter: I'll shoot you to death!

The rules say she can't refuse other people's requests? Then she'll return the favor.

What?! You need help finding your grandson?!

No problem! Then help me clear a plot of land. I'll bring your grandson over once you're done.

Old woman: I'll beat you to death!

The rules say she can't go out late at night? Then she'll chat with the neighbors through the window.

First, she tosses them a handful of sunflower seeds as a gift, then gets down to business.

I've got my eye on the land under your feet. Move back a couple of steps, would you? You can move, so this should be easy.

What?! You won't?! Then give me back those seeds!

Neighbor with feet but no hands: Do you have any manners?

Looking at her ever-expanding farm, Bai Qian nods with satisfaction.

I could live like this for years!

Then one day, the rules suddenly change, and crowds of people rush toward the farm.

Bai Qian wakes with a start. What?! Has the chance to get rich overnight finally arrived?!

She happily counts her money and says to the monsters penned up on the farm, "You'd better work hard! The rest of my life is counting on you!!"

The monsters: ...Just hurry up and die already!!
