[Katekyo Hitman Reborn!] Soul Swap

Sawada Tsunayoshi, 34, male, a second-rate Italian hitman.

Sawada Tsunayoshi, 14, male, the future Tenth Boss of the Vongola.

"They say we're the same person," said the older Sawada Tsunayoshi, dark circles under his eyes, taking the cigarette from the corner of his mouth and holding it between his fingers. "You really do look a lot like I used to."

Young Sawada Tsunayoshi pointed at him, looking as if the world had ended. "There's no way I'll grow up to be such a terrible adult!!!"

The older man narrowed his eyes.

"What a shame."

"I still grew up to be me."

At first, eleven-year-old Sawada Tsunayoshi thought he was dreaming. In the dream, he went to an exotic city, speaking with people in a language both unfamiliar and strangely familiar. At night, he would dart through alleyways and kill that day's target.

Only later did he learn that the language was Italian, the exotic city was Naples, and he had become a hitman, twenty years in the future.

He wasn't dreaming, either.

He had swapped souls with his future self, twenty years from now.

Three years later, Sawada Tsunayoshi met his home tutor.

When he heard the little baby say "Ciaos" to him in Italian, Sawada Tsunayoshi finally understood that his life had entered a river three years earlier, and from then on his world had been turned upside down.

That river flowed all the way to his future, twenty years later.

,

Thirty-one-year-old Sawada Tsunayoshi accidentally swapped souls with himself from a parallel world. He hugged his mother, Nana, tightly, overcome by the urge to cry.

My mother, how long it took me to forget you, yet in a single instant, memories from the past came rushing back.

Even if it was only a parallel world, I was overjoyed by this stolen time.

Three years later, Sawada Tsunayoshi met someone familiar.

Time and space had changed, years had passed.

Would everything turn out exactly as it had in my past?

,

We briefly exchanged souls, gazing across the river of time and looking back. In the end, we knew we were the same person.

And this world had always belonged to you.

All27, anti-Mary Sue (there's a Mary Sue in the older man's world), everyone's favorite, no logic.
