She Didn't Come Too Late

A stoic, emotionally numb mute bodyguard Alpha x a broken, seductive, refined CEO Omega

13-year age gap · healing romance · mutual devotion, one-on-one · sweet and angsty happy ending

In the bleakest year of her life, Chi Yumo was hired as bodyguard to Shi Youwan. She was the CEO Omega's first Alpha, and a lover who could only do as she pleased with her in the dark.

Just when Chi Yumo thought her forbidden love might have a chance, her Alpha rival showed her a photo and sneered, "She's just a plaything. What makes you think you matter?"

Worse, Shi Youwan broke her promise on the day of Chi Yumo's graduation performance to meet her rival. Then, on Chi Yumo's birthday, she announced that she was about to enter a business marriage.

When Chi Yumo's heat struck without warning, she begged, "Sis, I don't want you to become someone else's wife."

But Shi Youwan coldly pushed her away and injected herself with a suppressant right in front of her. "Stay or leave. It's your choice."

Stay and become the other woman?

She couldn't do it.

After cutting all ties with Shi Youwan, Chi Yumo made a miserable exit. She was attacked and, amid the blood streaming from her battered head, recovered the childhood memories she had lost years ago.

That was also the day she lost her voice and became mute.

[Bonus Scene]

At a party, a year after their breakup, Shi Youwan watched her former lover being led around by her new sugar mommy, who had an arm around her shoulders as she introduced her to influential guests. "This is my Momo. Please look after her."

Losing control, Shi Youwan dragged the girl away and pinned her against a wall. She touched the scar on the girl's right wrist, hidden beneath a tattoo, and asked in a wounded, alluring voice, "Why are you pretending not to know me? Why won't you talk to me?"

The glamorous sugar mommy came looking for her. "Why is my little Momo wandering off?"

Without hesitation, Chi Yumo went to her side and deftly signed: She drank too much and mistook you for someone else.

The sugar mommy gave Shi Youwan an amused look. "Don't take it personally, President Shi. Momo can't speak. Surely the friend you know isn't mute, is she?"

Mute? In an instant, tears spilled down the beauty's face.

From then on, wherever the fashion world's rising star Moyu went, Shi Youwan shamelessly followed, time and again lowering herself to plead, "Momo, come back to me."

[Key Points]

The Alpha has no extra appendages and can give birth to an adorable baby girl!

Important! This isn't a simple revenge fantasy written just for fun!

President Shi never got married for business, and she isn't truly a scumbag. It's a love that couldn't be acted on, full of push and pull!

Also, this story may not suit readers who are impatient!

It takes a long time to deal with the villains, so you'll need to be patient!

If a story only makes you frustrated and angry, and leaves you wanting to complain, don't read it!

Don't make things hard for yourself! Read something cheerful and do something that makes you happy!
