As a recent college graduate, Ling Miaomiao has all the labels society puts on graduates: broke, no work experience, clear-eyed and clueless, and extremely fragile (in short: 1 HP, 0 experience, 0 defense, combat rating: useless).
But she's also a little different. She's extremely optimistic, for one, and she can see... ghosts!
At her final physical fitness test before graduation, she is diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis. But helping a ghost by chance eases her pain and lets her discover the secret to making money.
Just when Ling Miaomiao thinks she can help people, save up, and look forward to getting rich, she forgets that ghosts are formed from profoundly dark emotions. She takes in a ghost whose body is spotless and agrees to restore his appearance and help him move into a new home, only to attract the gaze of someone far more terrifying.
A body that vanishes without a trace, a woman searching for her son, a girl asking for help with feng shui... They seem unrelated, but their stories are intertwined.
Her original goal was simply to save money, lie flat, and get herself a healthy body. Somehow, it turns into saving the world (not really).
