[Hannibal] Blood of Eternal Life

One evening, while out selecting ingredients, Hannibal strolled along the street. In his hand he carried a prepared ingredient: an aggressive lamb. The red-braised lamb would be all the chewier for it.

Just then, a pet shop by the roadside caught Hannibal's eye. His instincts told him there was something unusual about the place. He had only walked down this street once before, on his way here, but there had never been a mysterious pet shop along it.

He stepped inside. The reception room was empty, and the space was many times larger than the shop had seemed from outside.
