Unraveling Spring's Desires

Synopsis:

Li Zhiru is the youngest daughter born to the current emperor and empress in their middle age. As soon as she was born, the emperor made her Princess Baorong. She was raised in pampered luxury in the inner palace of the Chu dynasty, the most prestigious place in the realm, and her older brothers and sisters all doted on her.

The first thing in her life that didn't go her way was when her father wanted to arrange her marriage to Lu Zhi, Commander of the Imperial Brocade Guard.

Who in court doesn't know Lu Zhi?

When Li Zhiru was twelve, his name was already famous throughout Beijing, but not for anything good.

They say he kills without mercy, is cruel and bloodthirsty, can stop a child from crying, and looks as fierce and terrifying as an evil spirit. He's absolutely frightening!

Princess Baorong ran away from Beijing to escape the marriage.

She thought she would be safe far from the emperor's reach, but just as she escaped the wolf's den, she fell into a tiger's jaws. She was unfortunately captured and made the young wife of the seventh-in-command of Xiaoyao Stronghold!

The seventh-in-command looked like a libertine, his hair tied high in a ponytail. With a stalk of foxtail grass at the corner of his mouth, he came over to size her up, his gaze frivolous and lascivious.

Heavens! Terrified, Princess Baorong sobbed. She knew she was wrong. If she could turn back time, she would have stayed in the palace and behaved.

Lu Zhi was undercover at Xiaoyao Stronghold and was forced to pretend to be married to Princess Baorong, who had come from Beijing.

But Princess Baorong was terribly spoiled.

Lu Zhi's hands were used to wielding an embroidered spring saber. Now he even had to pick up a needle and thread to sew her... undergarments and menstrual belt.
