My Teammate Was Once the Savior [Apocalypse]

Humans have been exiled by the Otherkin to the "Realm" for a hundred years.

The humans kept in captivity by the Otherkin have gradually lost the ability to survive on their own. If nothing changes, the "Realm" will become the graveyard of all humanity.

To escape this dead city, Su Er eventually chooses to form an alliance with a strange, mysterious information broker called "Mr. Rabbit." What he doesn't know is that...

The choice that seems to be his own was actually planned from start to finish by "Mr. Rabbit."

The gentleman hidden inside the mascot costume was once the savior who dealt the Otherkin a devastating blow a century ago. For reasons unknown, he later vanished into the "Realm."

Until one day, Mr. Rabbit's identity is exposed. When Su Er demands to know why, he gets a cold reply.

Mr. Rabbit, Pei Xu, says, "Of all the choices I had, you were the one who truly held out until the end."

"I don't think so," Su Er replies. "I know I'm the one you value most."

Pei Xu, who had been hailed as a genius and elite for over a century, touches the mark at the corner of his mouth where Su Er bit him and falls into thought. He can't figure out when the child he raised himself started having feelings for him.
