They say life's three greatest misfortunes are dying young as a child, dying in the prime of life, and growing old before your time.
Xu Zhuo nearly died as a baby, having come close to passing through the gates of death at birth. His parents raised him with anxious care, only for him to develop a terminal illness and end up in the ICU.
Then he transmigrated into the even more unfortunate Long Aotian protagonist, Xu Zhiruo.
Normally, being "unfortunate" would contradict the Long Aotian archetype, but Xu Zhiruo feels both descriptions fit him perfectly.
His entire family is slaughtered overnight, forcing him to flee in a miserable, desperate bid to survive. He endures it.
The people of Fenghua Sect are just a bunch of harmless lunatics, yet he gets branded an evil cultivator along with them. He endures it.
He's trampled into the ground by all kinds of demons and monsters, left unable to live or die. He grits his teeth and endures that too.
Then he discovers that the transmigration System is actually his inner demon, and there was never any way back to the real world...
Xu Zhiruo can't take it anymore.
Whoever wants to play the patient, long-suffering Long Aotian can have the job. He's done. His lunatic side is about to explode!!!
From then on, he leaves a trail of blood and chaos, doing whatever he pleases.
Drunk, he admires his sword; awake, he rides wherever he likes.
No matter how carefully you plot or what powers you show, I'll be carefree and unrestrained!
A little scene:
At last, Xu Zhiruo manages to get himself killed and truly makes a trip to the gates of death.
But the little demons of Fengdu cling desperately to his robe hem. "Immortal, Immortal, our humble little place could never accommodate someone as noble as you. Please go back at once..."
Xu Zhiruo is baffled. "What, I'm not even allowed to die?"
The little demon sniffles, tears and snot streaming down his face.
"If you don't go back, that person is going to tear the very heavens of Fengdu apart!!"
Xu Zhiruo hurries off to find the culprit.
But the moment they meet, a fierce sword aura comes hurtling at him. The weakened Immortal Xu flees with his arms over his head, until a razor-sharp blade stops just beside his cheek.
The person before him is his sworn enemy, the second male lead of the original book, Yang Huan, the one he can never seem to avoid.
The other man's beautiful eyes blaze with anger, but as soon as he opens his mouth, tears spill down his cheeks.
Though there are a thousand things in this world that cannot be spoken,
No one knows you are the autumn point in my heart.
Fake Long Aotian, actual lunatic, immortal attack x proud, fiery beauty receiver
Tips:
1. One-on-one, they dote on each other. Ruo Ruo is a bit of a heartthrob, but not too much.
2. Light Lovecraftian elements and horror. If you feel uncomfortable while reading, put it down and take a break.
3. Not a power-leveling wish-fulfillment story. The protagonist group is genuinely crazy early on.
4. This one needs a lot of planning. I'll start it after finishing the first few projects.
