(Ace of Diamond) Inashiro’s Catcher Tryouts

Ritsu Sawamura is Eijun Sawamura's fraternal twin brother. Since his aunt and uncle had no children, they took him in when he was six. From then on, he lived in Tokyo with his aunt and only returned to Nagano for the New Year. He began his baseball journey in Tokyo. His dream is to become the best catcher in Japan. Along the way, he met Narumiya Mei and the genius catcher Itsuki Tadano. As they competed to become Inashiro's starting catcher, they pushed each other to improve, and Inashiro entered the era of two catchers. Round One: A starting catcher needs to look after the pitchers at all times. “Mei-senpai, let me carry your bag!” Ritsu and Itsuki said in unison, blinking up at the pitcher with hopeful eyes. “Wow, no surprise, everyone's crazy about me!” Mei exclaimed dramatically. Then he couldn't resist showing off in front of Shirakawa. Shirakawa pretended not to notice and walked away. Round Two: You absolutely can't lose, even at video games. “KO!” Itsuki easily beat Ritsu, a total gaming black hole, twenty times. He threw his fist up and cheered, “Yes!” “Again!” Ritsu raised a hand, revived at the last second, and decided to fight for another hundred years. Shirakawa put a stop to the chaos, then crushed everyone at the game. The two losers huddled together in a corner, heads in their hands, bonding over their defeat. “Ha, picking on my catcher? Let me at them!” Mei declared, only to get KO'd shortly afterward. He glared mournfully at Shirakawa. “I hereby declare Shirakawa the Inashiro video game king. He retains his title!” Carlos raised Shirakawa's hand and announced the victory. Yamaoka had watched the whole show all night and only started clapping after everyone else.
