Edgar Allan Poe Throws Two Punches

I'm Edgar Allan Poe, a novelist who writes the bizarre and the macabre.

As for why I like writing such obviously niche material, it's because I like writing it, of course. Why even ask!

Anyway, as you can see, I'm an antisocial, highly educated, melancholy ability user. That was the personality of the me in this world's original timeline, though. I've been given a new life now (not really).

I've decided! I'm sneaking off to Yokohama to watch the three-way plot battle! Hahahahahaha!

A lighthearted, happy story with no angst, full of cozy everyday moments. A story about being saved.

Please note:

1. This is my take on Edgar Allan Poe, and his ability is Ligeia. If you don't like that, please stop reading. He's 24, unlike the original.

2. A crossover with Hozuki's Coolheadedness, Bungo Stray Dogs, Detective Conan (just a little), Natsume's Book of Friends (worldbuilding only), Jujutsu Kaisen (probably just the worldbuilding, when WTW is a teacher), In/Spectre, and Kamisama Kiss.

3. No CP, because the author can't write romance.

4. I'm a fan of Edgar Allan Poe's horror stories.

5. I dislike every Bungo Stray Dogs pairing. Don't ship them here. Keep your ships to yourself.

"The Manager Does Nothing All Day"

Lobotomy Corporation is a new energy company that extracts limitless energy from all kinds of monsters.

Alvester is lucky enough to land a job at one of its branches, becoming one of the company's highest-ranking employees: a manager.

Ever since Alvester joined the branch and became manager, all the department heads have treated him coldly.

Him: “???”

After observing for a while, Alvester realizes the company seems to run just fine without him. The department heads work well together, constantly competing to outwork one another. They don't need a manager to coordinate anything.

Alvester: “Fine, fine, just leave me to slack off.”

The department heads: “???”

The department heads are furious. We work overtime every day, and you're the only one slacking off? Get to work!

Daily slacking

Employee A: Where's the manager?

Clerical staff: Haven't seen him.

Employee B: Department head! The manager's disappeared again!

Department heads: Manager, where did you run off to this time?

Manager: I'm with you in spirit. #InMemoriam
