Something's Off About My Hunter Husband

Synopsis: Xu Yao is the most beautiful and capable young man in Liangshan Village. But when he needs money to pay for his father's injury treatment, his awful relatives urge him to marry an old widower from the neighboring village who's willing to offer ten taels of silver as a bride price.

The old widower is vulgar, drinks heavily, and beats his husband. Xu Yao doesn't dare marry him.

Just then, a young hunter who lives on Liangshan comes to his rescue, giving him the money for his father's treatment.

Xu Yao is immensely grateful and says he'll pay him back.

But the hunter says, "You don't have to pay me back. You... would you be willing to marry me?"

Xu Yao is surprised and hesitates. "You... don't drink too much or hit people, do you?"

The hunter says, "I won't."

In his clan, anyone who doesn't know how to cherish their partner is a good-for-nothing.

Xu Yao steels himself. Fine! Marrying him has to be better than marrying the old widower!

The awful relatives don't get the matchmaker's fee from the old widower, so they sneer at Xu Yao. "Those hunters from the mountains are rough and wild. How would they know how to treat their wives? Look at those muscles. You couldn't take even one punch from him. The old widower is a much better choice. Once he dies, you'll inherit all his money."

Xu Yao is about to retort when the hunter, Shen Lang, arrives with generous betrothal gifts. Hearing their words, he furrows his thick brows. "Aunt Xu, are you hoping Uncle Xu will die so you can marry that old widower?"

Uncle and Aunt Xu turn ashen, while Xu Yao secretly smiles.

After his father recovers, Xu Yao gets married in grand style. As they live together day after day, he realizes he really did marry the right person.

They build a new house and buy fields, and their lives get better and better. Whenever his awful relatives see him, they turn red with envy.

But Xu Yao doesn't understand why his husband is always so... rough when they make love at night.

And why do their children have furry ears and tails?!
