[A bold, straightforward girl x a frail, foxlike scholar. If there are extras, they'll be a treat.]
[My next novel, "Hold the Cat to Command the Lords" (historical fantasy, cousins, true and false heirs to the throne), is now underway! I drew the covers for both books myself, hehe =w=]
The Tianyu Mountain Sword Sect had been cut off from the rest of the world. For thousands of years, no one had ever gone down the mountain, until the junior sister forged her sword.
Made from fine iron mined deep in the mountains, it was exceptionally beautiful. She had awakened it with her heart's blood and couldn't bear to put it down. But just a few days later, in broad daylight, the sword flew right off Tianyu Mountain.
Furious, the junior sister had no choice but to sneak down the mountain to search for it.
*
The search proved even more difficult than she had imagined.
Junior Sister: Excuse me, have you seen a sword flying through the sky?
Passerby: A sword flying through the sky? I've only seen pigs running on the ground.
And yet there was one frail scholar, handsome and composed, whose every word carried warmth. Not only did he get her out of trouble, he believed her without a doubt and never questioned her.
He told her that ordinary people were too vulgar to understand her pure heart.
Junior Sister: But my sword took my heart and ran away...
Scholar: ...
*
She traveled far and wide with this kindhearted scholar. As she went from naive to worldly, she became a renowned figure of chivalry, made a few close friends, and formed an extraordinary bond with the scholar.
Just as the two were coming to understand one another, she accidentally saw the scholar's bare back. It was exceptionally beautiful, and a small line of text was carved into his waist.
It was the very name she had carved onto her sword.
*
If you slept for a thousand years and woke to find yourself thrown back into a forge, where the swordsmith had taken it upon himself to give you a new name, carved and scribbled all over you, and held you close every day because he couldn't bear to put you down, even awakening you with his own heart's blood...
What would you do?
The Sword: Why are you just standing there? Run!!!
1. A xianxia story with a strong wuxia flavor and a low-magic setting. The female lead is basically the only one with magical powers, so she gets to crush everyone with her superior abilities. A satisfying power fantasy, but I'll do my best to keep it from being mindless. The pacing is relatively slow: roughly 30% wuxia/xianxia, 30% feelings, 30% romance (wholesome), and 10% mystery. Read according to your preferences!
2. Straightforward female lead x foxlike male lead, brawn x brains.
3. Running away from home means actually running away from home, not just losing something.
4. No real-life models. I'll try to note when terms borrow from the ancients.
5. This isn't a toxic relationship. What bad intentions could a sword possibly have?
*
*Shu: The name evokes a timely rain and is pronounced like "tree."
*(Content note, if you want to avoid certain themes) In this story, women can study and practice martial arts. It is not an extreme patriarchal setting.

Please check out my upcoming novel: "Reborn Too Late, My Young Disciple Has Already Become the Sect's Grand Ancestor"
You are a once-in-a-generation genius. You established your foundation at twelve, reached perfection at twenty-six, and attained the highest realm in less than a century. Your name spread across the land.
You are a saint praised by all, embodying the Dao, treating others with virtue, and saving the people and the world single-handedly.
Looking back on your life, you vanquished demons, drove out evil, and helped those in danger and need. You were quite satisfied with it, save for one small flaw.
You were reborn.
Wearing patched clothes, feeling the few copper coins in your pocket, you hear people on the street praising you: the sect you founded, the disciples you took in, the kindness you left behind.
You are seriously considering returning to the sect to visit and catch up with your friends, when you learn that your only acquaintance still alive is your youngest disciple.
When you died, he was around seventeen and needed someone to hold his pulse while personally guiding him through the opening of his meridians. But now...
Now he is the sect's grand ancestor.
Theme: Cherish the people around you
I feel that the author's writing style is very good, and the descriptions are also very vivid. The storyline is sometimes incoherent, the ending is a bit hasty, and the emotional lines are few and shallow. The image of the heroine Xiaoshu is quite three-dimensional and cute, while the male protagonist and other people are not three-dimensional. I hope the author can write more emotional lines in the next book, and the description of the relationship between the male and female protagonists can be deeper. The author's storyline and character settings are very novel and interesting. It would be better if the writing is more detailed. Come on! Looking forward to your next article \(*T▽T*)/
