After My Archenemy Lost His Mind, He Clung to Me

1

Li Yuanqing, once the light of the Star Dome and a general who repelled countless invasions from the Dark Sea, was ultimately corrupted by it. The universally admired hero became a high-risk 3S contaminant whose name struck fear into everyone.

His mental state was extremely unstable, and he had lost much of his memory. He could lose control and go berserk at any moment, so he was sent to a heavily guarded therapeutic planet to receive treatment.

His subordinates lived in constant fear, dreading that the next day they would find their boss completely mindless and turned into a minion of the Dark Sea.

But then something even worse happened.

The general had disappeared.

2

His subordinates were horrified and hurriedly searched everywhere. In the end, they found Li Yuanqing in a general store on a remote, third-tier planet.

The Star Dome general, who wouldn’t listen to anyone and attacked everyone who came near, was dutifully helping the shopkeeper move things, organize the shelves, and sweep the floor.

Whenever he had a moment to spare, he would immediately cling to the shopkeeper, wrapping him tightly in his mutated tentacles and refusing to be apart for even half a second.

His subordinates were stunned. Who had ever seen the general like this?

After looking through the records, they discovered the shopkeeper had been Li Yuanqing’s classmate at the Royal Mecha Academy. Apparently, they had often gone everywhere together, so they must have been close.

They suddenly understood. So that was it!

Tan Yin could only say: What do you mean, “so that was it”?!

3

Thinking back on his school days, Tan Yin’s strongest impression was that this man was always picking fights with him, constantly making a spectacle of himself for no reason, and even getting in the way of Tan Yin and his junior sister going to see a mecha exhibition.

If the guy hadn’t seemed both dimwitted and pitiful, Tan Yin would have kicked him out long ago!

Of course, the main reason was the military’s payment for his treatment...

Remembering the huge sum deposited into his account every month, Tan Yin fought the urge to chop off the tentacles with a kitchen knife. “That’s enough!”

Li Yuanqing reluctantly let go for two seconds, then clung to him again.

As the familiar presence surrounded him, he gave a contented sigh. All the pain and torment etched deep into his soul ebbed away like the tide, leaving only peace and tranquility.

“It’s so nice. It’s Yin Yin.”
