To get over her heartbreak, Bian Tian went abroad to study. After returning home, she applied for a high-paying job as a butler.

On her first day, she arrived late and accidentally caught the male owner wandering around the living room in a bathrobe.

The elegant man said coldly, “You're fired.”

Afraid of losing her job, she hurriedly looked up to explain, only to discover that he was the ex-boyfriend she'd dumped.

She swallowed her pride and managed to keep the job for the high salary. She got her mindset in order, determined to one day deliver the ultimate line of a butler: “I've never seen the young master smile like that before. This is the first time he's been so kind to a woman.”

And so on...

When she actually put her plan into action, she discovered that the young master had stopped bringing female companions home.

The young master gave her a cold look. “Are you stupid?”

For a while, the thoughtful butler Bian Tian noticed that the young master had no appetite and often brought male friends home, where they'd shut themselves in a room to drink and spend the night.

She suddenly realized her boss's sexual orientation had changed. To do her job as a female butler properly, she privately ordered some adult toys and put them in the young master's bedside drawer.

One day, the young master appeared with a pitch-black expression, holding a bottle of glycerin and asking what it meant.

Feeling a little awkward, she avoided his gaze and explained, “Men can get hurt doing it with other men. I'll keep your secret.”

Lu Chengping's eyes darkened. “I saw the toys. I think they'd be better used on you.”

Bian Tian was dumbfounded. “What do you mean?!”

As a student, Bian Tian secretly fell for the loner who was the most handsome guy at school, and often followed in his shadow.

Rumor had it that the school heartthrob could make every girl who confessed to him cry.

So the Avengers started humiliating him, targeting the self-respect hidden beneath his faded jacket.

She alone bravely stood up for him.

She alone seemed not to know what setbacks were, persisting in loving him and protecting his self-respect.

He said, “Then let's give it a try.”

Her passionate love met an iceberg. She expected to melt him, but in the end, her own passion burned itself out.

She said, “Let's break up.”

Spring never waits for late migratory birds. His spring flew abroad.

The one who fell first disappeared. Only the slow-burn love kept burning.
