[Harry Potter] Violets and Leo

A free story written for love. Updates are irregular, but I absolutely won't abandon it.

The bitter taste of the potion exploded in his mouth, and the most painful memory of his life surfaced in his mind. Damp, chilly air crept closer, and the cold hand of an Inferius seized his body.

"I'm going to die." Regulus's mind was crystal clear.

At the moment of despair, a luminous doorway appeared in midair. A girl, the most beautiful person he had ever seen, stepped through. He was certain Merlin had poured all his love into her. She was the pinnacle of beauty the human imagination could conceive.

The girl took his hand and led him out of the cold stone cavern.

And with that, his heart was hers. He didn't want to die anymore.

Violet had always thought of herself as a gender-swapped, morally bankrupt version of Kulo. Half Chinese and half British, she could use magic, and her father was surnamed Reed while her mother was surnamed Li. But she thought she was more like Tomie.

When she was eleven, Zhang Zhiwei, the current Celestial Master of Longhu Mountain, came to see her family. He hung a jade pendant around her waist and said, "It will suppress the bewitching allure caused by the curse on you."

At eighteen, she went to Britain to break the curse, was transported into a cave, and found a boy surrounded by Inferi.

Pairing: Regulus Black

#The heroine's backstory draws on the morally bankrupt Kulo, including some magic. But the heroine isn't morally bankrupt.

Theme: Keep living with determination
