The White Horse Rides

If you want to become an immortal, you have to work hard at cultivation. If you don't, you won't become an immortal.

Wei Yu slacked off for three years, and after failing to ascend, could only become a half-immortal, sometimes a human and sometimes a horse.

Being a horse, standing on all fours, was terribly inelegant.

Being human, standing on two legs, was elegant but not very bright.

Wei Yu regretted it. If she could do it all over again, she'd cultivate properly

No! She'd choose not to gain sentience and just be a simple little horse, basking in the sun and chewing on grass roots every day. She'd close her eyes, open them again, and her whole life would be over!

Moral: Be self-reliant.
