[Honkai: Star Rail] Cosmic Life Simulator

After accepting a friend's invitation to join a universe simulation project, Bai Yin discovers he's been tricked.

The supposedly simulated game makes him become a trash can, a mechanical bird, and a whole series of other non-human objects.

Bai Yin: I'm going back, and the first thing I'll do is shut that troll down.

Perhaps sensing Bai Yin's resentment, the simulation finally starts to feel a lot more normal.

But when he returns to reality, Bai Yin discovers that everyone he meets is acting strange.

Qiong: You look a little like my beloved.

Gepard: The meaning of Preservation is more than keeping one's vows. It also includes you.

Luka: Do you still want this badge of a champion?

Jing Yuan: I never considered you a nuisance. On the contrary, I want to hear you call me "Master."

Bai Yin: Weren't these supposed to be simulations?

PS. This is my own take on simulations. Here's a spot to park your brain. I might revise Chapter One. I'm writing according to my own tastes, with a snarky tone and no regard for plot logic.
