Synopsis:

Wu Yue was a scale the God of War and Lord of Geo had rubbed off himself. Raised like a son, he grew up soft and well-fed. One day, his old father, unhappy that he would end up alone forever, said earnestly, "Son, it's time you found a partner."

Wu Yue looked young, but was actually two thousand years old. He'd barely survived among the remains of the Archon War in his youth, which left him with a chronic illness, and he'd also been cursed. He was now confined to Jueyun Karst, clinging to the last of his adeptal energy as he recuperated.

The Lord of Geo couldn't bear to see him suffer from illness without ever tasting the sweetness and sorrow of love, so he encouraged Wu Yue to go out, make friends, and broaden his horizons.

To raise people's happiness, the government actively encouraged citizens to fall in love. Anyone still single past XX would be criticized across the entire interstellar community. It wouldn't cost them money, but they would probably be too embarrassed to show their faces.

At that point, matchmaking fever took off.

He opened a channel to another world, letting the people of Teyvat surf the internet. He'd thought typing to people online might help him overcome his social anxiety, but the internet was full of even more monsters and demons. And he had to find a partner among them.

Wriothesley considered himself so mature and levelheaded that he couldn't be swayed by worldly beauty. Then one day, he dreamed he had transmigrated into someone else's body. He looked down and saw a pair of long, slender, pale legs, and couldn't take his eyes off them.

Wu Yue was at his wits' end. He'd tried matchmaking countless times, but just couldn't find someone he liked.

Diluc, the brilliant and exceptionally talented winery owner from Mondstadt, was richer than his father. But he hadn't even known about the matchmaking. His brother Kaeya had secretly signed him up, and afterward had to compensate him with fine wine, which gave him an alcohol allergy.

Wu Yue turned down many persistent admirers. He was hazy about matters of the heart, and wouldn't accept anyone without being sure of his feelings.

Then he met a shameless, persistent man who was his very best friend. He didn't want to lose that friend.

"Wu Yue, what are you afraid of? They have what I have, and I can do everything they can, only better." The man drew him into his arms, his warm whisper brimming with tenderness.

Wu Yue fell into the web of affection he'd spun.

He feared his true nature would be exposed, and feared even more that his life would one day come to an end.

Suddenly, he realized that he'd already fallen in love with him long ago.
