[Genshin Impact] Shadows in the Embers (Venti/Servant, Platonic)

[Originally titled "The Wind God's Kiss". I accidentally set it up as a prerelease, so I've changed it into a free short story.]

[The main story covers Crepus's childhood and what happens after her death. The extra chapter covers Crepus's return to Teyvat.]

Home is no home, but an experimental laboratory. The warm fireplace burns children as fuel, and despair hangs over every child.

As her mother's only biological daughter, seven-year-old Crepus tries again and again to escape this place, until the day she turns sixteen...

--For sixteen years, I had been searching for freedom. Now I've discovered that the only freedom I have is the right to choose death.

--In the distant future, may you be proud, may you be noble, and may fate never stain you.

P.S.:

1. It has the feel of a Western fairy tale.

2. The first half tells the story of the House of the Hearth from Crepus's perspective. The second half tells what happens after Crepus dies, from Arlecchino's perspective.

3. A free little short story.
