Jiang Yue Bai was invited to join a live dating reality show called Dating in Progress.
The show's tagline was: Get your heart racing.
Jiang Yue Bai thought the production team was planning to make an adult-oriented dating show.
After all, the dating-show market was already saturated, and it was hard to make a successful program. Without some suggestive gimmicks to attract viewers, there was no way to draw an audience.
But after taking part in two episodes, Jiang Yue Bai realized that something about her dating show seemed off.
This heart-racing thing really meant thrills and a racing heartbeat in the traditional sense?

The host announced the dating rules. Before each episode began, every guest would choose a member of the opposite sex as their date for that episode, and start a romantic journey with them during the activities.
Production team: A little tip: one of the guests is a non-human creature.
[Dating Show, First Stop] Peach Blossom Village
On the fifteenth night of the seventh lunar month, the gates of the underworld open, and a bride is wed.
Production team: This episode's theme is experiencing traditional marriage (?).
Jiang Yue Bai chose the most average, ordinary male guest.
When the date was over, she was full of confidence: My date is definitely human.
The viewers watched the man secretly hide his chains: Should we tell her the truth?
[Dating Show, Second Stop] European-Style Castle
Production team: A honeymoon is essential ^^
After learning that she'd chosen a non-human last time, Jiang Yue Bai picked the most handsome man this time.
When she wasn't looking, the man revealed a pair of scarlet eyes.
Viewers: Oh, wow!
[Dating Show, Third Stop] ...
In the end, Jiang Yue Bai couldn't take it anymore: Why do I always pick non-humans?
The host pointed at the show's sponsors: The sponsors paid us way too much, teehee //A//
Reader's guide: One-on-one romance, horror infinite-loop adventure (not really), endless romance (maybe). It might be a little scarier than a dating game, but romance is still the main theme. This blurb is just a rough idea; the full blurb will be revealed before the story begins.
(2023.10.07)
Theme: True love knows no species-based prejudice.
