Clear Heart

Wen Yiyi only wanted to spend her life tucked away in her own Eden, writing beautiful fairy tales.

But she met Mu Zeng at the lowest point in her life.

They first met at the Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area, 3,300 meters above sea level.

Mu Zeng was in a sorry state, sitting in the rain.

Wen Yiyi asked the owner of a guesthouse for a cup of warm water and handed it to Mu Zeng. "Did you get separated from your companions too?"

Mu Zeng raised his head. His face was wet, his jaw taut, and his gaze as cold as the wind around them.

Wen Yiyi flinched and took half a step back. Her umbrella tilted, and the streetlight shone down on her.

Its light danced in her clear eyes.

Mu Zeng's Adam's apple bobbed as he said, "Yes. I'm lost."

He was like the cunning Big Bad Wolf from a fairy tale, coaxing her to come closer, one step at a time.

But timid as she was, after their first kiss, she ran away.
