Punching Above My Weight [Esports]

After leading his team to five consecutive championships, Lin Qiuzhe, an inaugural-era esports legend, handed the captaincy to the young protégé he'd discovered with his discerning eye. Just when he'd retired on a perfect note, he unexpectedly transmigrated seven years into the future and became a pretty-faced rookie streamer in a tiny rented apartment. It took Lin Qiuzhe a few days to accept reality. He was penniless, with no choice but to make a living by streaming. He switched his channel from the looks category to gaming and slowly typed in a new stream title: New Account Challenge: 100% Win Rate. Passing netizens: "An account in Bronze? Looks like another guy trying to get attention, but he sure is good-looking!" Two days later "Isn't this going a little differently than expected?" "A real 100% win rate?! Is he cheating?!" * After transmigrating, he discovered that his former protégé had retired and become one of the league's top coaches. But the old team was struggling to develop new talent, and its results kept getting worse. It was heavily criticized online, with haters constantly piling on. Lin Qiuzhe kept drumming up attention on the streaming platform, eventually attracting tryout invitations from several major clubs. But conspicuously absent was his old team. When there was no more waiting to be done, he publicly tagged CAD's official account: "Are you still recruiting rookies?" Netizens: "???" "Isn't CAD about to disband? Are they taking in a bunch of washed-up players for end-of-life care?!" A few months later, with its updated roster, CAD was back on the finals stage. On the night they won the championship, Lin Qiuzhe was helplessly pinned to the sofa by his protégé. The person before him was no longer the boy of years past. At least, he looked more mature and dependable than Lin Qiuzhe did now. Lin Qiuzhe: "...What are you trying to do?" His coach smiled faintly. "Take advantage of my senior."
