Which Night's Snow?

Announcement: This story will be going premium on Tuesday, July 30. Thank you for all your support! Please add it to your reading list!

Chen Yi was quite mysterious, but everyone at Beicheng Middle School knew who he was. Cheng Xi was his classmate. She had quietly observed him and knew all his little habits. Chen Yi had caught her watching him a few times, but as far as he was concerned, she was just an ordinary classmate.

Until one night, she ran into Chen Yi outside school. The streets were brightly lit. Cheng Xi had taken a bad fall, and was crouched by the roadside, crying as she drank her milk tea. Chen Yi walked over and glanced at her. "What are you crying about?" Cheng Xi's eyes and cheeks were red, and she didn't say a word for a long time.

After that, Chen Yi started paying attention to her, intentionally or otherwise.

During Cheng Xi's sophomore year of college, she went with a friend to a filming event over winter break and happened to run into Chen Yi. In the hall outside the filming area, Chen Yi grabbed her by the back of her collar. Cheng Xi turned to look at him. "Who are you? Chen?"

That winter, Beicheng had a heavy snowfall. In truth, neither of them had forgotten. He knew she was pretending.
