[Football] Nuclear Warhead II

Mykolo Smailiev had been called the second Nuclear Bomb since making his debut in Shakhtar Donetsk's youth academy. He led his team through every obstacle to the Champions League final, where they finished runners-up.

Then, the next season, Milan bought him.

Mykolo would never admit that he had joined cash-strapped, trophyless AC Milan for his idol, the Milan legend who came before him: Andriy Shevchenko.

Years later, Shevchenko became head coach of the Ukraine national team. Mykolo was delighted to find that, as a key player, he could be close to his coach every day. Then Milan, short on cash, decided to sell him.

Mykolo: ?????

He was utterly baffled, but in Serie A players generally had no say in transfers. Before he could even react, he was bundled up and shipped off to Arsenal.

Mykolo again: ?????

"Honestly, I wanted to stay at Milan forever." He lay across his manager's lap and complained. "But they had to sell me... They said it was because they had no money. I guess I'm just out of luck."

"I wish you'd stayed at Milan, but you didn't have to transfer there for my sake in the first place..." His beloved manager stroked his cheek. "Wherever you play, I'll love you."
