[Harry Potter] Whispers in the Thousand Nights

What if Lily Evans had an older brother named Mars Evans?

*

Like his sister, Mars has Titian-red curls and deep green eyes. But unlike her, his temperament earned him the judgment that he had "a brain made of gold" at the Sorting, and he was placed in Ravenclaw.

Everyone at Hogwarts knows that Lily Evans, the Flower of Gryffindor, has a brother who is even-tempered and excels in his studies. Even the most demanding professors can't find fault with him. But what draws the most attention is that, because of his sister, he spent four whole years at odds with the Marauders and still came to no harm. There's also his cool, handsome face, which can rival Sirius Black's.

This story is also known as "Dedicated to the God of War, Mars."

Original male protagonist paired with Sirius Black. First-person narration. If that's not your thing, please move on.

Updates are irregular. Please don't ask for updates. I'm a veteran procrastinator.

Please don't cast any characters from Magic Awakened in these roles. It really annoys me. No derailing or personal attacks. I'm writing purely out of love, and if anyone starts pointing fingers, I won't put up with it.

Note: The author is revising the story, so don't be surprised if chapters are locked. They'll be available again once the revisions are done.

Theme: Dedicated to Mars, who can overcome the darkness deep within the human heart.
