Yanyan is an abandoned little one.

Though his little head can't hold very much, he's vaguely realized that he's a little different from normal people...

Normal people don't have two pairs of ears: one pair of ordinary children's ears and one pair of furry ears on top of their heads. The furry ears are soft and fluffy, and they stand straight up when he's on alert.

Normal people don't have three eyes. The eye in the middle of his forehead is pure black, with not a glimmer of light in it.

Normal people don't have long, black, razor-sharp claws that can slice through steel with ease.

But Yanyan doesn't care about any of that, because he already has the best guardians in the world.

Sure, they have sticky, winding tentacles, huge mouths full of sharp teeth, and ugly snake tails covered in black scales...

But that's okay. Yanyan loves them just as much as they love him.

In a vast, lonely tower lived experimental subjects, feared and despised by all.

Day after day, they mechanically repeated the same routine.

One day, a little child with two pairs of ears, three eyes, and razor-sharp claws stumbled into the tower.

And then roses began to bloom in the tower.

Ming Yu and Ming Jin are twins.

Ming Yu nodded, then puffed out his cheeks and complained angrily, "It's so mean."

"If Big Brother is the great demon king, then I'll be a little demon king! We're family, so we won't fight!"

He said those last words with utter seriousness and conviction.

As if they were an unshakable truth.
