After Getting Stranded in the Wilderness, I Became the Giant Tribe’s Bride

Overnight, Yu Bai transmigrates into a prehistoric age overrun by beastfolk. In this strange world, male beastfolk are powerful, female beastfolk are rare, and he has been classified as an androgynous beastfolk, the most inconspicuous and easily overlooked kind. Simply staying alive is hard. After a storm-driven beast tide sweeps through, he rescues a giant who is on the verge of death from the ruins. Yu Bai uses what little medicine he has left to treat the giant’s wounds and give him medicine, pulling him back from the brink of death. He swears he only did it because he was suddenly feeling charitable. It definitely wasn’t because the guy was handsome. * Huo Duoer nearly loses his life in a vicious beast tide while trying to save his people. An androgynous beastfolk saves him. They don’t turn him away despite his wounds from head to toe, or abandon him when he can’t see. One day, the wounds on Huo Duoer’s face and eyes gradually heal, and at last he gets to see the androgynous beastfolk who saved him. In the sunlight, the tiny figure is basking in the sun, smiling with eyes like crescent moons. People say androgynous beastfolk are the most inconspicuous of all, but Huo Duoer thinks this little one moves him more than any female beastfolk ever could. * A new announcement spreads through the beastfolk world: any male and female beastfolk who enter a bonded partnership can receive a plot of land in the beastfolk city. Yu Bai is tempted. Life in the wilds is terribly unstable. The house he worked so hard to build and the crops he just planted could all be destroyed by a beast tide at any moment. Hoping to get a plot in the city, Yu Bai approaches the giant he rescued and asks if they can pretend to enter a bond, so they can share the land. Huo Duoer agrees. Yu Bai lays down three rules for them: One: They’ll share the resources they get after entering the bond. Two: There’s no need to fulfill any bedroom duties. Sleeping separately will do just fine. Three: If either of them finds a male or female beastfolk they truly like in the future, they can dissolve the marriage bond. After they enter their contractual bond, Yu Bai has his land and a house, and no longer has to worry about going hungry or freezing. Life grows more and more settled. But why is Huo Duoer, whom he’s always thought of as a brother, holding him tighter and tighter when they sleep? Weren’t they supposed to sleep separately? ** One winter night, snow swirls outside the window. Yu Bai gazes at the handsome face close to his own, then slowly draws back the hand he’d used to push Huo Duoer away. He thinks, Fine, he can hold me. I get cold easily, and sleeping in his arms is surprisingly warm. Later, for reasons Yu Bai can’t fathom, Huo Duoer kisses him, his gaze stormy with emotion. Yu Bai keeps his eyes closed and kisses him back for a while, thinking, Fine, we can kiss. My lips are tingling, and this feels… pretty thrilling. A frail, pretty, resilient sweetheart who takes life as it comes x a powerful, cool-headed, loyal giant PS: The gong is very tall and big, over 2.3 meters, with a large floral tattoo sleeve, a pattern dyed on with plant juices and a sign of a giant’s great strength. After the shou gets healthier, he gradually grows to 1.78 meters. At first, he’s around 1.72 meters because of his poor health. A marriage that turns into love, a vulnerable sweetheart’s daily life surviving in another world. Warm and cozy overall, with two people relying on each other. The bonus chapters include children. PS: This is a primitive beastfolk world where people live by hunting. Even after the ending, little modern civilization is introduced, so the setting remains largely primitive. (Please don’t hurt wild animals in the modern world!) The treatment of external injuries and identification of medicinal herbs in the story are based on medical books. No need to nitpick the details too closely, lol. 20231004 Theme: In a primitive world, stay true to yourself, persevere through hardship, and build a home.
